Do you own a timeshare or two or three? Are you tired of all the timeshare resorts, not to mention the so called "exchange companies", that sucked you in with the illusion of trading for when and where you really want to go? And, don't forget the exchange fees, membership fees, all for, in most cases, nothing. Don't be embarrassed to say "Yes!" Lots of other people, including me, have done the same thing. One of the best things I did was to give back 2 of my timeshares to eliminate the resort fees. I did keep one that I like to use but still have hope that I can exchange it for something I want at a time I want it.
Here is an idea for all you people out there who are frustrated with the way the whole timeshare thing works.
Let me know what you think and maybe we can try it.
This Timeshare Revolt blog was set up to start to share availablities between friends and aquaintances? Maybe we can find want when we want it without all the administrative hassles. Of course, there would probably still be the exchange fees but the two parties involved could work that out between themselves.
Of course safety and common sense should prevail. Don't send any money, confidential information, account numbers, etc. to anyone. (This is only a contact tool kind of like one of those dating sites :)
